Strengthening Families
We can assist you with all your Driver and Vehicle Licensing requirements including International Driving Permits (IDPs), personal IRD number verification, Super Gold Card ID photographs and Passport photographs. We can help you renew your AA Membership. We stock a limited range of travel guides and free maps are available to AA Members.

Strengthening Families enables you get the best support for your family/ whānau to thrive. Strengthening families helps to get access to the services families need and create a plan.
Eleven New Zealand government agencies are actively involved with Strengthening Families along with hundreds of community-based services.

Attendance Service
He Roopu Wahine Matariki
CKC REAP looks after the local Attendance Service contract.
Attending school on a regular basis is hugely important. Every day counts towards a child’s learning and pays huge dividends for their future. Regular attendance is needed for children to continue learning and improving their basic reading, writing and other skills they need.
REAP has staff members who work to help students and families where attendance is a concern, Darlene Houpapa can help.
He Roopu Wahine Matariki is a programme for young women at CKC REAP.
The focus of the programme is:
· Citizenship
· Friendships
· Relationships
· Support (of community, self, and others)
· Tuakana/ Teina
· Personal Self-development.

Kaiāwhina
A Kaiāwhina is a helper, assistant or counsel to someone, a group or organisation.
At CKC REAP we support the development and understanding of the Maori Language, culture, knowledge and values within three Early Childhood Education Centres.
Currently, we have three casual kaiāwhina who are placed at Central Kids Kindergarten Paraone Street, Rata Street Preschool and Central Kids Early Learning Centre.
The focus is to be actively involved with the sharing of Maori concepts and values in Te Ao Maori and continual communication of Te Reo Maori to the staff, grandparents, parents and children within each centre.
Kāhui Ako
CKC REAP is a proud collaborative partner of the Taumarunui Kāhui Ako.
A Kāhui Ako is a group of education and training providers that form around children and young people's learning pathways and work together to help them achieve their full potential.
At REAP we believe that the safety and education of children is a priority, change is a reality and collaboration is the strategy.
Copy & Print Services
At CKC REAP, we can provide copy, print, scan and fax services. We have an array of coloured sheets and both A4 and A3 white pages. We can enlarge your document, colour copy, laminate your poster or just about whatever you think up.
We also offer typing services and have internet available to the public.
Room & Equipment Hire
CKC REAP has 2 rooms available for hire. Each one has tables and chairs for approximately 15-20 and access to toilet facilities. Kitchen access offered.
REAP also has a projector, screen and an assortment of other items for hire. Most are provided for room users at no cost, the projector is an additional charge. The projector is $40 per day onsite, $70 per day offsite.
Room Hire is available during normal business hours, 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. Bookings are required.
Safe2Go
Driving Coaches
There's no quicker, more certain way to learn the rules of the road than with a Safe2go Driving coach. They’ll help you feel at ease in the driving seat so you can pass your test with confidence.
Vehicle
Don't have a car to learn or test in, not to worry, we do. CKC REAP has two community vehicles that are available to Safe2Go participants. For testing use, vehicles need to be booked in advance (enquire in office).
Safe2Go Seniors
Safe2Go Seniors is a one-off assessment drive for senior drivers aged 74 years old and over, designed to help keep seniors confident and safe behind the wheel.
Heartland Services
There are many ways to access government and community services. But sometimes you just want to talk to someone, face to face, in your own community. That’s exactly what Heartlands offers.
Most of our Heartland Service centres are in rural communities that don’t have easy access to government services. We aim to provide a level of personal service that is generally only available in urban centres.
Our Heartland Services Co-Ordinators can provide the link between our provincial rural community and a range of services
